AWS Welding Certification
Preferred Metal Products, 3614 Princeton Oaks St., Orlando, FL 32808, joined the American Welding Society (AWS). Lisa Allen, General Manager, stated, “We are very proud and excited, to serve the needs of our clients and we have welders that are certified and specialize in certain AWS standards.
Lisa Allen notes, “some clients contracts may specify that only certified welders will work on their projects. Therefore business and industry needing this level of certification can contact Preferred Metal Products to produce their products.”
American Welding Society Certification
AWS is the internationally accepted standard for welding professionals. Certification requires tests to qualify the welders and to receive certification in a variety of welding and fabrication skills.
